About Me ~
Hi! I’m Sean! A WGA TV writer and script consultant who most recently wrote for GOOSEBUMPS: The Vanishing on Disney+/Hulu starring David Schwimmer. (No, I did not ask him to pivot.)
I’m from Glendora, California, and if I had to sum myself up in a sentence: I’m half-Mexican, half-white, and 100% homosexual. Before jumping into TV writing, I worked in documentary production and nonprofit marketing, where I helped legends like Charlize Theron, Jane Goodall, and the Dalai Lama tell their stories. That experience gave me two things: inspiration for my writing and a healthy dose of existential dread.
I’ve been lucky enough to be selected twice as a Mentee for the Read Latinx Writers Initiative, was a finalist for NBC’s Writers on the Verge, and am an alum of the 2023 Disney Writer’s Program. I have also pitched shows to major studios and production companies.
In addition to writing, I provide script consulting services, where I help other writers bring their ideas to life!
